Responsibilities
- Support the service manager and service techs in responding to repair calls that typically require a sense of urgency.
- Assist service techs in minor repairs and punch list items on roofs, siding, gutters, awnings and windows.
- Be outside for extended periods of time, lift/push/pull more than 50lbs daily and frequently. Climb ladders and work at heights safely.
- Abide by all OSHA safety guidelines and can safely operate power tools and standard equipment.
Requirements
- Valid driving license (required).
- Education: A high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1-2 years in carpentry, siding, roofing, or similar experience.
- Look presentable and dressed in clean company attire.
- Must feel comfortable being on a roof & not afraid of heights.
Skillsets
- Possess general knowledge or strong desire to learn about roofing/siding materials and tools involved in the assembly, installation, or repair of roofing/siding structures.
- Nice to have – familiar with roofs, cap windows, handle interior trim, drywall, siding, and soffit.
- Good with time management and coming to work on time.
- Must be able to communicate well with others.
- Prefer a motivated self-starter.
Hours
- Full-time: Monday – Friday with occasional weekend availability
