Derby at the Vineyard Hosted by Penns Woods Winery
Have you ever been to the charming family-owned, euro-inspired vineyard, Penns Woods Winery? We will be attending their Derby at the Vineyard and we want you to join in on the fun. This is an unforgettable event hosted by Penns Woods Winery in conjunction with Derby at the Vineyard, LLC, nestled in the heart of picturesque Pennsylvania wine country in Chadds Ford.
For the past four years, spectators have enjoyed this event for the horse show, live music, delicious food trucks, and, of course, wine! Unlike your typical horse derby, this one is unique where it bridges the gap between Schooling and Rates Horse Shows to give a supporting environment for the Local Level Riders.
This year, it will take place on May 18th and 19th, from 10am to 6pm. With the winning tickets, all you have to do is pick which day you want to attend and what wine you prefer! We will take care of the tickets, parking pass and wine. Oh you may want to bring along a chair and a blanket (or two), so you can settle in and soak up the atmosphere in comfort.
Whether you’re a wine connoisseur, a lover of equestrian sports, or simply someone who enjoys good company and great entertainment, Derby at the Vineyard promises an experience like no other.

Old World Roots – Penns Woods Winery
Penns Woods Winery was founded in 2001 by Italian immigrant & USMC veteran Gino Razzi. Gino found the perfect site in Chadds Ford with a charming 1800’s farmhouse & decades old established vineyard in need of rehabilitation. After three years of hard work, he was finally able to being making wines from his own estate grown grapes. Gino opened a small tasting room in 2006 & brought in his daughter Carley in 2010 to help manage the growing business. Blending tradition & innovation, Penns Woods Winery is the experienced leader of viticulture in Pennsylvania. For over 20 years, they have produced premium, Euro-styled wines that highlight the depth & flavors unique to our region by utilizing time-honored sustainable farming techniques alongside a cutting-edge facility.
Contest Details
Open to Delaware County, Montgomery County, Chester County and Philadelphia County residents only. Must be 18 years of age or older to win. Entries must be received by 11:59pm ET on May 12, 2024. There will be one (1) winner selected at random and notified via direct message on May 13 by 8pm ET. This giveaway includes two general admissions tickets to Derby at the Vineyard at Penns Woods Winery and a bottle of wine. Tickets will be emailed to the winner.
